Fred Kumetz is the founder and CEO of American-owned and operated information management and transcription company eData Services. Having practiced law in California for over 30 years, Fred has represented doctors, lawyers, insurance companies and banks. He has also litigated class-action lawsuits that require the organization and management of data extracted from tens of thousands of documents, making him fully understand the documentation needs of eData’s client. With his extensive experience in the field, Fred has often been requested by the Philippine government and other outsourcing organizations to speak at conferences about various outsourcing issues.

From 2004 up to present, Fred has been promoting the MT Industry and MTIAPI, taking time off to speak at various fora, including the MTIAPI forum in March 2004 about “US Legislature against Offshore Medical Transcription”, the eServices 2005 Conference & Exhibit - Data Transcription Forum, organized by CITEM, and the eServices Conference and Exhibit on Data Security in February this year. Fred was also part of the October 2005 AHIMA Roundtable Discussions with Prospective Clients organized by CITEM held in San Diego, California. He has also been a resource person at the Philippine Consulates in New York and San Francisco, USA on developing a BPO company in the Philippines from 2004 until 2005.
