TTSI bags e-Services Awards 2010

The e-Services Awards recognizes outstanding achievements in technology development locally and showcase them during the e-Services Global Sourcing Conference and Exhibition, a two-day international trade show and conference in the Philippines spearheaded and organized by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions or CITEM.

This year, MTIAPI member firm Total Transcription Solutions, Inc. (TTSI) has been given recognition for its Online-Blended Entry-Level Medical Transcription (ELMT) training program as the Most Outstanding Consumer Application for the Year. The award was presented during the e-Service Awarding and Networking Night held last February 8, 2010 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

The Online-Blended ELMT program is a 12-week course which combines self-paced online training and instructor-guided facility-based training for entry-level medical transcriptionists. The program provides an accessible, affordable and appropriate online platform for entry-level medical transcription training in order to achieve the basic skills and competencies required by potential employers. This was developed with employers in mind as the learning concepts and contents are based on the production and training needs of MT companies, while taking into consideration prospective students who would like to learn medical transcription at their own pace and time.

In the 2008 e-Services event, TTSI also won the same category for its Online On-The-Job Simulation (OJS) for medical transcription. The OJS program addresses the growing need of MT trainees who are unable to find an MT company to hone their skills in a simulated production environment.
