MTIAPI Joins e-Services 2009
The Medical Transcription Industry Association of the Philippines, Inc. (MTIAPI) will take part in the e-Services Global Sourcing Conference and Exhibition slated on February 9-10, 2009 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.
Considered as the Philippines’ premier business ICT event, e-Services ‘09 intends to provide a venue for the ICT/BPO industry to discuss current issues and trends, create business matching opportunities, build career awareness and showcase the outsourcing capabilities of each featured ICT sector.
Aside from MTIAPI, other organizations joining the event include the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPA/P), Animation Council of the Philippines, Inc. (ACPI), Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP) and the Philippine Software Industry Association of the Philippines (PSIA). Plenary sessions will be held on February 9 and sectoral tracks organized by participating industry associations will be held on the second day of the conference. There will also be an exhibition area which will feature the participating companies and other enablers, new wave cities and industry booths to cap the event.
On February 10, MTIAPI will be presenting a Transcription Track as its main activity during the conference. Relevant topics will be discussed by subject matter experts from member companies of the association which include: Philippine Transcription Situationer by Ms. Myla Rose Reyes, Managing Director of TTSI and President of MTIAPI; Transcription and US Recession by Mr. Fred Kumetz, CEO of eData Services Philippines, Inc.; and the last topic is Building Sustainable Business with US MT Service Organizations Through Quality Transcription by Mr. Colin Christie, President and CEO of MxSecure.
MTIAPI supports this annual conference and exhibition organized by the Department of Trade and Industry through the Center of International Trade and Expositions and Missions (CITEM).
