MTIAPI Elects New Set of Officers for 2009

MTIAPI convened its last Board of Trustees meeting for 2008 last December 10, 2008 with the annual election of officers. After the usual formalities of the election presided by MTIAPI Executive Director Raymund Eruma, Ms. Myla Rose Reyes of TTSI was re-elected as MTIAPI President with the term from January 01, 2009 to December 31, 2009. Other officers elected were Mr. Juanloz Botor – Vice President; Mr. Albert Santillan - Secretary and Mr. Michael Chua – Treasurer. The annual election of the officers of the board is done on the board level as the mandate of the officers of the board of trustees is only good for one (1) year.

Meanwhile, the present Board of Trustees of MTIAPI is good until the next board election on December 2009 as the board has a two-year-term (January 2008 to December 2009) The Board of Trustees will be elected at the level of the general membership.

The nine (9) Board of Trustees of MTIAPI for 2009 are the following: American Academy of Medical Transcription represented by Penny Lauchangco; Asian College of Science and Technology represented by Emmanuel Ryken Ceremonia; eData Services Philippines, Inc. represented by Fred Kumetz; IQ West Outsource Technologies, Inc. represented by Albert Santillan; MxSecure, Inc. represented by Colin Christie; SPI represented by Francis Patalinghug; Text Switch Unlimited, Inc. represented by Juanloz Botor; Total Transcription Solutions, Inc. represented by Myla Rose Reyes and Transkripsyo represented by Michael Chua.

Mr. Fred Kumetz of eData Services Philippines, Inc. is the Chairman of the Board.
