TALENT DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

This committee will be responsible for developing various programs directed at:

» Career Advocacy to ensure sufficient pool of talents.
» Developing training regulations and model curricula for MT-related careers.
» Creating Structure for individual, school and corporate certification/accreditation to ensure the quality of RP talents.
» Bridging the skills gap between the industry and the academe.
» Continuing education and skills diversification.
» Representing MTIAPI in the BPAP Talent Development Power Team.

PGMA-TWSP (Training for Work Scholarship Program) Committee

» This committee will be responsible for the judicious implementation of the PGMA TWSP program including but not limited to the following:
» Development of implementing guidelines in accordance with partner agency’s terms.
» Screening for eligibility, disbursement, monitoring and reporting tools for measuring success or improvement areas.
» Representing MTIAPI in the BPAP PGMA – TWSP meetings.

Marketing & Communications Committee

This committee is responsible for developing various programs that will:

» Represent MTIAPI in BPAP Marketing and Communications Power Team
» Prepare branding materials for the association and promotional materials for the MT industry
» Establish media linkages to publicize/promote industry events, advocacies and accomplishments, etc.
» Develop marketing programs that will generate quality leads for the association members such as participation in local and international trade shows and conferences

Membership Committee

This committee is responsible for:

» Developing policies and procedures for membership (admission, retention & termination).
» Conducting periodic site visits to new and existing members.
» Developing plans for corporate accreditation in compliance with international standards.
» Monitoring compliance of members to MTIAPI Code of Ethics.

Research and Infrastructure Development Committee

This committee is responsible for:

» Providing industry statistics and information to the public (talent pool, sector revenues, employment and resulting benefit to the country).
» Keeping abreast of trends and breakthroughs that will affect the industry, extent of impact, and how to protect the interest of the business.
» Developing assessment tool to determine the readiness and capacity of “Next-Wave Cities” for potential source of talent.
» Developing a scorecard to identify tier 1 and tier 2 cities as investment destination.
» Studying the feasibility/applicability of vertical businesses in healthcare and other BPO services as potential source of additional revenues.
» Representing MTIAPI in BPAP Research Team meetings.

Special Projects Committee

This committee is responsible for:

» Organizing income-generating projects through business seminars, capability building events, etc.
» Sourcing out sponsorships for association events like the general assembly and other related activities.

Information & Publication Committee

This committee is responsible for:

» Collation and/or creation of information contents for the monthly publication of MTIAPI Newsletter.
» Coordination with the other committees on various projects that needed to be publicized.
» Developing the layout of MTIAPI Newsletter – hard copy and electronic version.
» Maintenance and timely updating of MTIAPI Newsletter.
» Ensuring that the information in the website is regularly updated.
