1st MEGA TRANSCRIPTION JOB FAIR 2008!





HIGHLIGHTS OF THE JOB FAIR



The 2 huge tarpauline ads in front of the jobfair venue served as magnet drawing passersby to check on the mega transcription event.


Applicants from Quezon City and neighboring cities lined up in the registration area of the job fair


Enthusiastic to get a transcription job, applicants brought with them several biodata/resumes to be submitted to companies which put up hiring booths.


Some companies already conducted preliminary screening by letting the applicants fill-up employment profile forms


Each company which participated in the job fair received an equal share of applicants


The first day of the job fair generated around 1,800 applicants while the second day produced around 600 turn outs despite the onset of bad weather in the afternoon of June 21, 2008 brought about by the approach of typhoon Frank in Metro Manila
